Topping my list of “must dos” for Port Douglas is the Wildlife Habitat. I am thrilled to be hosting a competition to win a family pass to their interactive, wildlife immersion experience.
Guests to the Habitat get up close and personal with Australian wildlife in a variety of ecosystems including wetlands and grasslands. Special dining options include Breakfast with the Birds (my boys favorite) and Lunch with the Lorikeets. A kids club runs on school holidays.
To enter, just subscribe to this blog by August 13th. The winner will be chosen randomly from subscriber’s emails.

We are a family from Holland. Since we are planning our holiday to Oz I’m a follower on fb from the wild life habitat in port douglas. The girls love the pictures and Julia hopes we are having our visit on the 7 of aug beceaus of her birthday.she hopes to get her dream come true.

We have a little 7 month old girl and will be travelling to Cairns and FNQ in oct and nov to visit a friend and her family and to have our first family holiday. Sorry for being slow in the announcement – I lost my whole blog a week or so ago due to hacking and have been frantically rebuilding. Due to the interest in this competition I will contact some of the other local wildlife places and see if they are interested in donating a prize.
